What is individual psychological counseling?
Individual psychological counseling is a therapeutic process between you and the psychologist, in a confidential and safe environment. Through guided dialogue, evidence-based techniques and an authentic partnership, we work together to understand and overcome the challenges affecting your quality of life.
My approach is integrative — I combine elements from cognitive-behavioral therapy, person-centered psychotherapy and mindfulness techniques, adapted to your unique needs. There is no universal recipe: each counseling journey is built together, step by step.
When can individual counseling help?
Individual psychological counseling is beneficial for a wide range of difficulties:

How do sessions work?
The first session is an assessment: we get acquainted, discuss what brought you to the practice, establish objectives and outline the work plan. It is also an opportunity to feel whether the therapeutic relationship works — the alliance between us is essential.
Sessions last 50 minutes and take place weekly or fortnightly, depending on your needs. Each session builds on the previous one, tracking progress and adapting the approach if necessary.
A typical individual counseling journey comprises 6–12 sessions, although duration varies depending on the complexity of issues and personal pace of change. Some clients opt for a longer process, others reach their goals more quickly.
